If I can remember this far back our December was fun and eventful. We started out the month going to a Live Nativity in Alpine that my father in law was in this year. He was a Roman Solider along with his brother in law John, they played the part awesome!! Brindley thought her Grandpa was famous:)
This Navivity was very cool, they put ALOT of hard work into it. There were buses that were taking people every 15 mins. They planned on it going until 9 each night (Friday, Saturday, Monday) but that didn't happen. They had to turn people away at 11. It was crazy how many people come to this each year.
The girls had so much fun. Brindley thought that everyone we saw was the REAL deal, it was really sweet. She told everyone in her primary class the next week in church that she got to meet the real baby Jesus!
We had so much fun that this is going to be something we do every year for sure!
Another fun thing that happened was Elder David Swenson returned from his Mission in Japan! He really didn't change in looks much just a little older but he is still the same sweet caring loving David, were so glad to have him home!
A week before Christmas we went to see the Lights down town with Toms Family! I love going to do things like this with family! The kids always love the may different colors of lights. Sadly the excitement wears off fast because it's always SO cold, but they did't pretty good for 20 mins. The last of the adventure was spents inside at the church musuems! Then it was off to fill our tummys:) Another perk to going with family (hehe) Reed and Maryann treated us to a great meal at chuck a rama! The kids LOVE this place because they get to make their own rice cream cones and put WHATEVER on them.
