A fun Weekend!

This past weekend was a great one. We did the annual get together at my Grandparents house for a mothers day lunchin. Its so nice to talk with family that I only get to see a few times a year. This year was WAY different, as you all know my grandpa passed away a few months ago and went home to many family members incuding his sweetheart Faye. So my mom and her sisters have spent many Saturdays cleaning things out, so we got to go through the house and pick what we wanted. It was sad and fun at the same time. I got some things that are very important to me, im so glad that I have them and ALL the memories that I have with my Grandparents. It was also nice because I was able to leave Brindley with dad. I love her to pieces but I wouldn't have been able to talk and have a little me time if she would have come. Besides she had so much more fun with her dad going to lunch, the Dinosaur Museum and a FUN 3D movie. Thanks again Tom:)
Then Mothers Day...... Was pretty layed back. Tom made some good breakfast for me and Brin, then it was off to church. When we got home Brindley and I took a quick little nap before we headed up to the cabin to spend time with toms family. I think that everyone in the family would agree that the highlight was talking to DAVID!!! It was do good to talk to him, he is doing awesome!! He is loving in Japan, he said that hes gotten used to eating almost everything raw, get this he said he eats a raw egg a DAY GROSSSSSSSSSSS! I gagged a little when he told me that. Anyway it was a good mothers day, im so grateful for my girls and that I can be their mommy. I love you my little sweeties:) P.S. sorry no pictures I forgot the camera:(
