Easter

This Easter was kinda a bummer for me just because we missed out on a lot. Every year my moms side of the family gets together for lunch and a Easter egg hunt at my Grandparents house in Mantua. We didn't make it because I didn't want to take the 2 girls by myself and also Londyn is only a month. Then on Sunday my step family got together for brunch and we didn't make it because Brindley got a cold. (WHATEVER)!
But I do have to say that we had a fun time at home. Brindley had a lot of fun going on her Easter Egg hunt through the house followed by another one of Toms famous Breakfasts. Seriously he should have been a professional chief, this man can cook!!






My mom came down for a bit and hung out, it was a lot of fun. Brindley just loves her grandma!! When the door bell rings she runs as fast as she can saying Grandma Grandma!! We spent the rest of the afternoon watching a movie and playing games.
Toms family was getting together at 4 for dinner, we REALLY wanted to go, so we decided since it was just up the street and Brindley was feeling a little better, what the heck were going. I'm glad we did, Brindley was able to go on a hunt with all her cousins and I got to get her all dressed up and pretty in her Easter dress I was so excited for her to wear.





So this year was a little different for us, but we still had a good time. I am so grateful for everything that I have been blessed with in my life. I have 2 healthy beautiful girls, a husband that loves and appreciates me and also family members that are always here for us when we need them. Easter is such a special time. It was so great to listen to Tom explain the meaning of Easter to Brindley. She was really into it, she asked a million questions! I hope of you had a great weekend! Loves:)
