For those of you that didn't know Tom started his very own business 3 weeks ago, and it's been H---!!!!!!! He is NEVER home! We have done 1 vacation this whole summer and it was to Bear Lake for one night. BLAH BLAH!! I know that he doesn't enjoy being away from home as much as he is, but it breaks my heart in two when I put Brindley to bed and she says "wheres daddy". Most nights he is home to put her to bed but it's almost 10 clock and he's still not home. Anyway enough of my complaining!!!!! Brin and I decided to have some fun today!! First we went to a fun water park in Provo with some friends and my sister in law Laura. Brindley has so much fun with her cousins. After a few hours, it was time for a nap! I did my usual house stuff while she slept for 2 hours and then we decided to go hang out with Grandma and Aunt Jessica! We headed up to the gateway and had a yummy dinner at CPK (California Pizza Kitchen). My mom and Jess had never been there before so we HAD to go! Then Brin enjoyed playing in the fountains! Sadly I didn't bring the camera along so no pictures sorry Amy (haha). When we got back to Grandmas, Jessica, David( Jessicas boyfriend) and I played some basketball! I haven't played since high school, it was a ton of fun. Then before we headed home we all had a yummy caramel apple.
We had such a fun night, it sure beat sitting at home tonight waiting for DADDY to get home!!! We love you Tom! Thanks for all the hard work that you do!!!

Ugh! I know having your husband away is so hard. Between working full-time, going to school full-time and being the 1st counselor in the young mens, we sure don't see much of Geran. What makes it worse is that we only have one car so I can't even go anywhere to pass the time:( It sounds like you had fun at the gateway and everything! Hopefully things get better and you'll be able to see more of Tom, for Brin's sake anyway!!
I know how much it sucks not having your hubby home. Hopefully this isn't long term. In the mean time...come up to West Jordan with me one of these days and we can play!!!!
