I thought it would be fun to blog about a few fun times that Tom and I had the first year of our marriage! One of my favorite things to do is go to country concerts! I love country! I always thought that I would marry a cowboy. Well Tom comes from a family that is totally into the cowboy thing, but he isnt at all. Fun story... When Tom and I were dating he knew that I loved Kenny Chesney, so he did everything he could to make it a night that I would remember and he succeeded for sure! I told him that he had to dress the part, he didn't seem too excited but he did it anyway. When his mom saw him all she could say is you are wrapped around her finger! She didn't know how I got him to dress up! Anyway the night was amazing he got seats on the floor, I got to see Kenny sweat! It was the best night! We didn't take any pictures because we forgot the camera!
Another fun time was when we went to Tim Mcgraw with Toms brothers David and Sam! David was Sams date because Sam didn't want to spend that kind of money on a date just yet! He's silly! We got a few pictures of them, I didn't want to be in it because I was 7 months pregant and hated the camera!

This is Reed and the boys on the famous river runs! River runs are the BIGGEST tradition in the Swenson Family. I think they have been doing them for 22 years!! All the boys (including Tom) look forward to the river every year! Now I would have thought that the meals would be cold cereal, whatever you could find for lunch and simple fire dinners, but nope that in this family. Maryann cooks for about a week. They have all kinds of fruit salads, steaks, eaggs, toast, bacon, pancakes etc. They have a blast everytime. So I decided to give it a try. Bad idea!!!! I was the only girl with 18 men! It rained and rained and rained! Reed kept saying over and over " I have never had this happen in 20 years" I said Im so glad that I could be here for the first time! We had a few sunny days and they were awesome days!!! We took pretty hikes and got really wet doen the river! Im glad that I gave it a try!
